Terms of service
Last updated 31 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Moment of Melody and any song you buy from us. By using the site or paying for a song, you agree to them. If you have questions, email contact@momentofmelody.com.
What we make
Moment of Melody turns the answers you give us into a personalised song. We write the lyrics and produce the music using AI tools, so each song is generated for you and isn't performed by a human singer. Songs can contain small imperfections, such as an unusual pronunciation, and may sound similar in style to other music. Because songs are AI-generated, they may not be protected by copyright, and similar melodies or phrases could appear in other songs.
What you share with us
- You confirm you have the right to share the names, memories and other details you give us, and that the song is for a lawful, personal purpose.
- Please don't include anything hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't ask us to copy an existing song, its lyrics, or a real artist's voice or style. We may decline to make a song that breaks these terms.
- You must be 18 or over to buy a song.
Previews, price and payment
You can hear the first minute of your finished song before you pay, so you can decide whether to keep it. If you'd like something different, you can change your answers and make it again before buying. A song costs $29 in US dollars, shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
Delivery
After payment you get a private song page with the full song, the lyrics and your message, plus a file to download. Delivery is digital and usually immediate. Please download a copy for safekeeping; we keep song pages available for at least 12 months.
Fixes and refunds
If a name or detail we wrote is wrong, or the file doesn't work, tell us and we'll put it right. Because each song is made to order and previewed before purchase, sales are otherwise final once delivered. Our refund policy explains this in full.
Using your song
Once you've paid, the song is yours to use and share. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes: playing it for the person it's for, sharing it with family and friends, playing it at a private event, and posting it on your personal social media. You may not sell it, release it on streaming services, use it in advertising, or claim it as your own commercial work.
Our responsibility
We work hard to make every song well, but the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a song is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here applies from the date above; changes won't affect songs you've already bought.
